Mold And Me

The health department came out yesterday and did an inspection of our apartment. Of course, they wrote a “glowing” review in our favor, even spotting mold in places we didn’t know it existed. Plus, when checking under the sink for leaky pipes, the inspector hit is head on two 3+ inch bolts that are down there for no real reason. He wrote those up on the report as well.
I still haven’t heard anything back from the landlord about the demand letter I sent. I’m wondering what’s going to happen now that the health department has faxed them their report with pictures. They’ll only give them 30 days but of course, just like the IRS, the health department accepts requests for extensions. *Ugh*.

In the meantime, we’re trying to find places to live as my allergies are really starting to annoy me again and I’m blaming it all on the f-in *mold*.
