Happy Father’s Day
I just want to wish the fathers out there a very happy father’s day. And to my own father, I love you and thanks for always being there for me. Damn it, I’m getting all teary eyed.

Well, it’s finally happened! Tylor is now a daddy for the first time. But, not only one but two little baby boys! Congrats to Tylor and Jenn! I’ll try and get more info tomorrow, but he paged me at 10:57PM with the news.
PS: Happy Father’s Day Tylor! ![]()

Why is it that the world is run by cash? Why do I have to pay bills or pay for a place to live in order to “survive” in the *free* world? The world doesn’t sound so free to me if I’m constantly having to pay for things…
Maybe I could be like “some people and just have a judge wipe it all away”:http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/gate/archive/2003/06/11/moneytales.DTL for free. Sure, there is a hidden “cost”, having bad credit for seven years. But in the end, it’s only seven years and it’s free, except for the lawyer part.
Always the damn lawyer that’s making the money…

Bah, the damn French are at it again. Serena Williams is “booed to tears”:http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=577&ncid=577&e=4&u=/nm/20030605/sp_nm/wta_open_serena_dc by a bunch of rude f-in French tennis fans. Leave the damn Iraq War out of it and let the women play tennis for damn sakes.
Cheap bastards.

… therefore I am human. I was about to post a long comment about the future of IT jobs in America since I read an “article”:http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2003/06/02/BU270141.DTL the other day related to such a topic.
I realized while writing the post I was very upset about the subject and began writing things in my “angry” tone instead of my “rational” tone. Consider this post my first attempt at censorship against myself. It doesn’t feel very good to censor one’s self, but sometimes “it needs to happen”:http://www.snapturtle.com/archives/000273.php.
Please, read the “article”:http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2003/06/02/BU270141.DTL and make your own judgments, I’ve left my in the vault for now.

Man, what a crappy week I had last week. Being sick although unable to act like it, I had to work hard due to those ever so present “issues” that always haunt ones place of employment. So, this week, attempting to feel better because work has smoothed out some, I actually got worse.
And since I’ve been sick since May 23rd I felt it was time to take a trip to the doctor and beg for some drugs. Oh, but wait, I don’t have a doctor… they stopped taking my insurance and now I’m screwed. Oh, but wait again, how about visiting the E.R.?
Ugh, after what seemed like forever, but only about an hour and a half, I left with my prescription and a new outlook on my sinus infection. Help is on the way boys!
In other news, apparently my landlord has risen from the dead as both the linoleum and the sliding glass door have been fixed. Yes, but you see, getting new linoleum is one thing, but when the landlord only pays for “applying” and not “removing” I believe this still leaves mold under the floor. In a classic move that only my landlord (err… many landlords) could perform, the linoleum guy told us that he wasn’t paid enough to actually remove the moldy linoleum, just to cover over it. ‘Ring, ring’ — “County Health Department how may I help you?”
