I’m still here. Been really tired or working late nights instead of posting. Blogging to me is like writing and sometimes I’m just not in the mood to write anything witty (not like anything I ever write is witty).
Work a 16 hour day yesterday, first time in awhile. That was burtal, still trying to recover. Just wanted to say hey. Oh, Aiden is still really trying to walk but not just yet. He’ll stand up for a good minute now before falling over, but he just doesn’t want to take that first step with holding on to something. Soon, very soon…

Earlier today the “Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride at Disneyland derailed”:http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/West/09/05/crash.disneyland.reut/index.html, injuring 11 people on board (CNN). I later heard on the TV that the one person who was critically injured died.

(Taken during our visit in August)
This was one of Autumn’s favorite rides at the park. It’s a rollercoaster that twists and turns in a mining type theme, moving at approx. 30 MPH. There are no upside down loops, mostly short drops and sharp turns. The ride did breakdown a couple of times while we were visiting, but nothing to keep it from coming back up a few hours later.
Update: “More information about the accident”:http://www.wsbtv.com/news/2459599/detail.html.
Update #2: “Official news from CNN”:http://www.wsbtv.com/news/2459599/detail.html and Disney confirms that a man died while on the ride inside a tunnel. What a terrible tragedy, my heart goes out to the victims family and those that were also injured.

Going back to work after the weekend is never fun. But going back after a long weekend is even worse. That one extra day to not think about work makes it harder to actually start your week. Oh well, at least it wasn’t Monday because I always have a case of the Mondays.

I love the winter. I don’t know why exactly but I also love the smell of a fresh rain or the clap of thunder from above.
Although neither winter nor Neverwinter Nights have anything in common, I thought you should know that my latest gaming addiction is in the form of the latter. While waiting for “World of Warcraft”:/archives/000260.php I must find something meaningful to do with my time (haha… I know, don’t even say it). So, lucky for us Mac gamers, we’ve finally received a very capable RPG that not only is good solo but excellent to play online as well. Based on the 3rd edition rules of Dungeons & Dragons (Yes, this is why I have D&D books in my Amazon wish list), NWN does everything a good RPG should do. Good quest system, vast selection of races and classes, true D&D system (it’s all automatic), engrossing gameplay, and free online play. I’ve only had the game for a week but I’m already loving this game and I’ve almost forgotten about WoW.
Since I like both Warcraft and NWN, I thought I’d bring them together by creating some Warcraft based portraits for my NWN characters. Because I’m such a nice guy I’m even “willing to share”:/nwn/
Granted, there isn’t much there at the moment but given time and love I think I may be able to add even more besides portraits. Enjoy!
