Only iTunes Music Store AAC is wrapped with Fair Play. Any AAC you rip from CD is as open as any MP3 (in fact, iTunes doesn't allow you to DRM the AAC). Plus AAC sounds much better than MP3 at the same bitrate. As for comparison with WMA, why should people trust Microsoft over a group of people who do audio for a living? Just a minor correction. I’ve read reports that have stated AAC sounds better than WMA. Personally, I don’t care which sounds better per say, but I agree, Dolby should know sound a little more than MS.

Oh, my boss asked me to find an “iPhoto for Windows”. Searched, searched, searched. Eventually found something that looked good, does what it says but is not as intuitive as iPhoto, does not allow multiple album selection and movement and basically uses as much RAM as you have available commonly crippling the machine…….
