Survivor All Stars

February 2nd, 2004

The much anticipated Survivor: All-Stars premiered after Super Bowl XXXVIII tonight (congrats to the Pats!) and in order to hide my thoughts from those of you who haven’t seen it yet (it’s going to re-air on Tuesday 2/3) because of time shifting devices like my beloved TiVo, I’ll comment on the show in the extended entry. I’m going to assume you’ve seen the show since you’ve decided to read the rest, meaning, I’m not going to spell out what happened so some of my comments may not make any sense unless you’ve seen the show.

Jerri was visibly quiet which was quite shocking. After her little “I’m going to keep my mouth shut” on camera routine, she’s going to need to with the likes of Rudy and Rupert in her tribe.

Colby’s facial reaction to seeing Jerri was classic. He really doesn’t like her.

I was surprised that Jenna didn’t get voted out after publicly stating she doesn’t think the former winners deserved a second chance. I for sure thought Rupert and Rudy would have voted out Jenna because she’s loud mouthed *****. But again, knowing the Colby is out there, keeping Tina around would be a big mistake. Just think if they were able to hook up again. Maybe Tina could repay Colby the $1 million he lost?

Anyway, looks to be an exciting season with the added drama of friends and foes on the island together.
