Am I the only person in American who didn’t see the “Janet Jackson flash show”:http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/news/2004-02-02-jackson-halftime-incident_x.htm during the Super Bowl? Yes, I did watch the Super Bowl. Yes, I do own TiVo.
However, I historically do not watch the Super Bowl half time show because I find them to be quite a boring affair. I didn’t actually record the show via TiVo because it’s a big waste of space since I was watching it live. Oh well, I guess I could download the “wardrobe malfunction”:http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/2004-02-02-janet-jackson-jewelry_x.htm off the internet but it’s really not that big a deal now. Would have been more fun to see it happen live and then rewind it over and over
BTW, “I’m with Howard Dean”:http://www.abcnews.go.com/wire/Entertainment/reuters20040202_563.html :
bq. “In general, I think the FCC does have a role in promoting some reasonable standard of decency,” Dean told reporters aboard his campaign plane. “However, considering what’s on television these days, I think the FCC is being pretty silly about investigating this.”
