I can’t believe I’m actually going to boycott EB Games for this but frankly “what they did to this women”:http://www.abcactionnews.com/stories/2004/01/040129hallofshame.shtml is just fucking unbelievable. Not only has EB Games broken the law, they’ve attempted to charge someone for getting their stolen games back. EB Games is in quite a bit of a “quagmire”:http://www.snapturtle.com/archives/2004/03/09/random_word_quagmire.php wouldn’t you say?
Why should I shop at a store that treats their customers like this? I can easily take my money elsewhere and get the same product for the same price. Since EB Games removed their 14 day return policy on opened games I have no compelling reason to shop there anymore other than they deal in just games. So what… Best Buy, CompUSA, and Toy’s R Us all sell the same games near my house, sometimes on sell at Best Buy. EB Games never has games on sale, just rude employees and extremely unfriendly customer service.
Let the boycott begin!
