Thirty Something

Since I haven’t updated in over a month I thought I would at least mention that today was my 30th birthday. I’ve been dreading this day for awhile now and although it wasn’t nearly as painful as I had dreamed up it would be I’m still not convinced that being thirty is a good thing.

However I will say that having a surprise birthday party at a pizza parlor organized by my wife was very cool. I knew something had to be up as she had the devilish grin all week and would not tell me anything! (the nerve… I love you!)

The “Airport Express”:http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/ gadget she got me isn’t half bad either. Normally I wouldn’t buy something like this for myself but since it was a gift, it’s awesome Was able to get the Airtunes functionality working rather quickly, now I’ve got to get the wireless bridge going with my Linksys G router.

Other notable events this month that I’ve completely forgotten to blog include my 10th wedding anniversary and Autumn’s 8th birthday which occurred during the first week of school… bummer. Why are kids having to go to school before Labor Day now is beyond me. If I were eight again I’d be pissed off.
