OMGZ!!!@@@ You think Mario Kart DS is good? Wait until you see Animal Crossing: Wild World DS in action. These Japanese commercials are great. Be sure to click on the all 5 numbers below the main screen to see them all.
I purchased the original GameCube Japanese release before it was announced for the US. I’m glad I did though because it still was a lot of fun. I’m thankful that this time the release is just a few weeks apart. It’s going to be a long two weeks waiting for Dec. 5th though.

So I picked up Mario Kart DS and I’m having a great time with the game except for one small problem: quitters. See, Mario Kart DS is online which allows me to flex my kart racing muscle across the multi-universe. The online play is a ton of fun plus Nintendo did a pretty good job with the implementation so games are lag free and smooth.
The one troubling issue though is online quitters. These are people who are too damn afraid of getting their butt whooped so instead of continuing on they quit out of the game. One example would be the fellow aptly named, DrRetard. What is so troubling about DrRetard is that he actually had unlocked the R.O.B. character which basically states “Hey, I pwn at Mario Kart DS. I’ve beaten the game and here is my proof!”. However, DrRetard may have beaten the single player version of the game but he has a lot to learn about the online portion.
So, if you ever find yourself matched up against a DrRetard or infact the actual DrRetard, be wary. If you start kicking his ass he’ll quit and no one likes a quitter.
PS: I’m looking to link up with actual humans who won’t quit like little babies. If you fit that description please post your friend code in the comments. Mine can be found here.

This should come as no surprise, but Blizzard has announced through their Starcraft: Ghost FAQ that the Gamecube will no longer be receiving their latest console release:
On what platforms will StarCraft: Ghost be available?
StarCraft: Ghost will be available on the Xbox™ and Playstation®2.
The Gamecube is dead. Albiet a few Nintendo releases like the new Zelda, the annual Mario Party, Mario Strikers (soccer), and an over abundance of low grade “children” software, the Gamecube era is over before it ever really started.
Word on the street is that Starcraft: Ghost will now include online multiplayer for both PS2 and XBox hence why the Gamecube gets the snub. Thanks Nintendo! (I wasn’t buying it for GC anyway in all honesty.)
