Interesting - decided to by pass PS3 wifi and connect it via ethernet to an A.E. (n). But when I stream media it still uses it's built in wifi. So far, only got it to work beautifully when changing the Airport network to solely N - forcing the PS3 to use the ethernet. But that's not a situation that can remain - iPhone, elder PC's hanging around etc need wifi G compatibility...

I have the exact same problem, except I don't have an Airport Extreme to get the PS3 wired. It's extremely frustrating.

I've tried everything from forwarding ports, to DMZ, to putting the AE into 802.11g only... nothing works. PS3 wireless is broken.

Great analysis .. I had exactly the same questions and will now look at plugging into my AE repeater instead.
