Pretty awesome piece of software that Sony is developing for the Playstation 3. This is a video from the BBC. Hopefully this product will make it over to the states.

This footage is pieced together from my Sony Cyber-shot P93 camera with underwater housing. Certainly beats the disposal camera’s but is nowhere near pro-quality.

I had a really enjoyable day that afternoon swimming with a large group of turtles. Many of them were feeding on the coral reef and I was desperately trying to take as much footage and snap shots as I could. In the end, my 512MB memory stick ran out of room and I was left to just enjoy their grace and beauty.

Survivor All Stars

The much anticipated Survivor: All-Stars premiered after Super Bowl XXXVIII tonight (congrats to the Pats!) and in order to hide my thoughts from those of you who haven’t seen it yet (it’s going to re-air on Tuesday 2/3) because of time shifting devices like my beloved TiVo, I’ll comment on the show in the extended entry. So, if you don’t want to spoil it, don’t click the link below. You’ve been warned.

I’m going to assume you’ve seen the show since you’ve decided to read the rest, meaning, I’m not going to spell out what happened so some of my comments may not make any sense unless you’ve seen the show.

Jerri was visibly quiet which was quite shocking. After her little “I’m going to keep my mouth shut” on camera routine, she’s going to need to with the likes of Rudy and Rupert in her tribe.

Colby’s facial reaction to seeing Jerri was classic. He really doesn’t like her.

I was surprised that Jenna didn’t get voted out after publicly stating she doesn’t think the former winners deserved a second chance. I for sure thought Rupert and Rudy would have voted out Jenna because she’s loud mouthed *****. But again, knowing the Colby is out there, keeping Tina around would be a big mistake. Just think if they were able to hook up again. Maybe Tina could repay Colby the $1 million he lost?

Anyway, looks to be an exciting season with the added drama of friends and foes on the island together.

Pokemon Heroes

Autumn and I spent the afternoon going to a movie together for the first time without Mommy. Of course, since the movie was “Pokemon Heroes”:http://www.pokemon.com/movies/06000391.asp, I was actually excited to go (uh… someone check my pulse).

The movie wasn’t half bad actually. There was some pretty good CG animation in some of the scenery shots, but as always, the Pokemon were hand drawn. I’m a big fan on 2D animation, heck, my all time favorite fighting game series is still “Street Fighter II”:http://www.klov.com/S/Street_Fighter_II_-_The_World_Warrior.html.

Anyway, since I’m a geek at a Pokemon movie I took a couple of shots of the film. I was actually going to moblog the shots but the phone display is so bright in the dark I thought it best not to.

Anyone else ever take pictures using a camera phone in a theater before? Geeks unite!
