It’s been awhile since I created a desktop wallpaper but here is my latest offering. A honu (turtle) photo taken from my latest Kauai trip last May/June. The photo was shot with a Sony Cybershot DSC-93A with the Sony Marine Pack MPK-PEA housing.
Currently there are only two versions available, one for widescreens and another for standard monitors. If there is enough interest I may create larger or smaller sizes.

I’ve been looking for some new wallpaper as my Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga picture had run it’s course. What I found instead may become my wallpaper for a long while.
Tux’n'tosh is just like it sounds, Linux mixed with Macintosh, Windows users need not apply. In fact, Tux feels sorry for you, according to his web site intro.
How can you resist these cute Tux wallpapers even if your a lowly Windows user? He’s just so darn cute!

I’ve always been a fan of wallpaper for my desktop, usually changing it every week or so. Lately I’ve been playing around with a lot of my abstract photos and found that they make some nice desktop backgrounds. So, I’ve added the first one here to snapturtle, certainly not the last however. This was actually a photo of an ivy leaf taken with a Sony DSC-P72 after a recent rain. I used the Photoshop dust and scratches filter to apply the blurred hand drawn look. Let me know how you like it!
